Paintings

The inspiration for the series "Marvel In Love" came from my love for Disney (Marvel) and vintage comic books.

I bought a 16x16 canvas to test out coating canvas' with resin. I was curious to try out acrylic paint pouring too, so I thought I'd combine everything I wanted to test. The paint pouring was successful, and with that I painted Captain America on top of the acrylic pour. This was only meant to be a test canvas... turns out I enjoyed painting the initial tester canvas and was too afraid to pour resin on it encase it ruined it's beauty! So... I started a series of Vintage Comic Book Paintings and swerved the resin idea. Each canvas has been satin varnish coated.

Each canvas is 16x16 inch.
